Did you know?

Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for up to 80% of cases in older adults.

Understanding Alzheimer’s & Dementia

When memory and thinking skills begin to decline, Alzheimer’s & Dementia may be the cause. These are progressive neurological disorders marked by the buildup of abnormal proteins, which disrupt communication between brain cells and eventually lead to cell loss. Over time, this process results in memory impairment, changes in reasoning, and shifts in behavior. Alzheimer’s is most often linked to beta-amyloid plaques and tau tangles that damage neurons.

Common triggers include aging, genetics, cardiovascular health, and chronic inflammation. Risk factors such as diabetes, sedentary lifestyle, and head injuries can also contribute. While there is no cure, management focuses on slowing progression, supporting daily function, and improving quality of life. Early intervention and supportive care are key to maintaining independence as long as possible.

Symptoms of Alzheimer's & Dementia

Unlike normal forgetfulness, Alzheimer’s & Dementia often start with persistent memory lapses that interfere with daily routines. Individuals may misplace items, repeat questions, or struggle to recall recent events. These early symptoms can be subtle and are sometimes mistaken for normal aging.

As the condition advances, language difficulties, confusion about time or place, and trouble with problem-solving become more pronounced. People may find it harder to follow conversations or manage complex tasks. Mood changes, personality shifts, and social withdrawal are also common.

In later stages, individuals may lose the ability to recognize loved ones or perform basic self-care. Severe disorientation, agitation, and loss of independence often require ongoing support. Each person’s experience is unique, and symptoms can vary in pattern and severity.

Traditional Treatments

Conventional care for Alzheimer’s & Dementia aims to slow progression and manage symptoms. Medications such as cholinesterase inhibitors and memantine are often prescribed to help with memory and cognitive function. Behavioral therapies and environmental adjustments can improve safety and support independence. Structured routines and supportive environments help maintain orientation and comfort. Lifestyle interventions like a brain-healthy diet, regular exercise, and social engagement are encouraged to promote overall well-being. Supportive care addresses sleep issues, mood changes, and caregiver needs. While there is no simple answer, a combination of medical, behavioral, and supportive strategies aims to enhance quality of life. Ongoing research continues to explore new approaches for managing cognitive decline.

How IV Therapy May Help

Many expect that only medications can support brain health, but nutrient-based therapies offer another approach. IV infusions provide controlled doses of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that may help reduce oxidative stress and support cellular function. These therapies are administered by licensed providers in a comfortable setting, allowing for personalized care and monitoring. By focusing on hydration and targeted nutrients, IV therapy can complement other wellness strategies. For those experiencing cognitive fatigue or seeking proactive support, regular sessions may help maintain mental clarity and energy. The DRIPBaR's offerings are designed to fit into a broader care plan, working alongside lifestyle changes and traditional treatments. Our goal is to help individuals and caregivers explore practical options for brain health. Consistent support and a holistic approach can make a meaningful difference in daily life.

Nutrient Support for Brain Wellness

Certain IV therapies provide nutrients that may help support cognitive clarity and brain function. These offerings focus on promoting cellular energy, reducing oxidative stress, and supporting neurological health.

  • NAD+

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) is a crucial coenzyme involved in energy production and DNA repair within cells. This intravenous therapy delivers NAD+ directly to support mitochondrial function and enhance cellular resilience. By bypassing digestive limitations, it offers faster absorption and targeted metabolic support. The treatment may help improve mental clarity, reduce fatigue, and support overall vitality. It is designed for individuals seeking proactive wellness and cognitive enhancement. NAD+ levels naturally decline with age and stress, making replenishment important for maintaining health. This therapy provides a science-based approach to support long-term cellular function.

  • Nicotinamide Riboside (NR)

Nicotinamide Riboside (NR) is a vitamin B3 derivative that serves as a direct precursor to NAD+, a coenzyme essential for energy production and DNA repair. Delivered intravenously, this therapy bypasses digestive barriers for rapid absorption and utilization. It supports mitochondrial biogenesis, enhancing energy output and endurance. The infusion also promotes neurological function and cognitive clarity by boosting neuronal metabolism. Additionally, it strengthens antioxidant defenses to protect cells from oxidative damage. This therapy is designed to support overall vitality and healthy aging through targeted cellular support.

This place is so amazing. The staff are super helpful with everything. I originally came in unsure about injections, because they seem super sketchy, but they were so helpful in helping me understand my own needs and how each injection works. They aren’t pushy and won’t pressure you into trying something, which a lot of people do at other places or online. They care a lot about making sure you get what your body needs. The pricing is reasonably affordable and service is 10/10.

Jane who works the front desk at the Drip Bar is pleasant. She made sure I was taken care of when I came to use the sauna every time! The sauna is down at Fit factory and she made a point to assist me, reach out, and had a positive attitude every time I speak to her. Also, the NP was kind! I don’t use the IV feature but I might consider it since they are personable!

  • “I am excited to share my experience with The DripBar in Foxboro. Two weeks ago on Sunday I woke up feeling mildly terrible 😞. My throat hurt a lot also. Usually I end up fighting my symptoms with antibiotics and respiratory issues for a month or more… sad but true, i had an event in 7 days and knew I probably would be”
